Lucky 7 Youth Fundraisers Return with Fan Favorites and New Twists

Get ready for more fun, competition, and community spirit at this year’s Lucky 7! The TQHYA youth are bringing back some of your favorite fundraising events—with exciting updates and fresh energy to support youth programming throughout the year.

Trainer Horsemanship — With a New Twist!

Back by popular demand, Trainer Horsemanship is making its return, and this year, the stakes are higher than ever. Everyone can get in on the action by voting for the trainer they think will win the class—$1 equals 1 vote!

  • 25% of proceeds go to the class winner

  • 25% goes to the trainer with the most votes

  • 50% benefits TQHYA youth programs
The entry fee is $15—be sure to sign up early to start collecting those votes!

📍 This class will run Friday, after Class #179 – Amateur Horsemanship.

Youth Relay Race & Dog Race

It’s time to round up your fastest dog and your most agile partner! The youth relay race and dog race are back. Each entry is just $5 and will be collected by youth members before the race—cash or Venmo accepted.

📍 Dog Races will be held Saturday, May 2. Time to be announced closer to the show.

Consignment Sale — Give & Get Back

This year, the Tennessee Paint Horse Club will host a consignment sale during the Lucky 7, and TQHYA will be collecting items to sell on behalf of the youth. It’s a great way to support our community while cleaning out your tack trunk!
A huge thank you to Jerry Allen, whose generous donations inspired this fundraiser. Keep an eye on our social channels for details on how to donate your items!
